Room Makeover Project at Springfield House in Final Stages
The Room Makeover Committee under the leadership of Craig Carr is pleased to announce that demolition and construction for the remodeling of our 21 bedroom House is in the final stages of completion.
Since 1991, over 12,000 families have utilized our special “home away from home”. The rehabilitation of all the bedrooms that include widening the doors, updating the bathrooms to accommodate new accessible appliances and fixtures, refinishing the walls, carpeting and new furnishings are almost finished. “There are still a few more items to complete,” stated Craig. “We are truly blessed to have the handiwork and generosity of our architect, Rick Katsanos of HAI Architecture, and our contractor, Bob Langevin of Houle Construction, guide our team in the construction of our new rooms and are grateful to them for all their hard work in helping us with this project.”
The children and families are the true beneficiaries. We grateful to the generosity of so many making this project possible. To date, $924,000 has been raised toward the $1.425 million goal. There is still time to assist in completing this project.
