The Teen Board of the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield exists to assist the House in meeting its mission of serving families with seriously ill or injured children. Through a variety of volunteer projects and special events, the Teen Board’s mission is to raise awareness of and interest in the Ronald McDonald House in the community and to encourage high school students to become more active in community service.

Who We Are

What We Do

Our Teen Board participates in a number of activities, including: car washes, Holiday decorating and themed parties, facility maintenance, fundraisers, crafts, Indoor carnival, and occasional field trips.

Teen Board Requirements

  • Must be a student in the Western Massachusetts high school area.
  • Each teen is expected to volunteer a minimum of 30 hours per year.
  • Each teen is responsible for planning and running the Board meeting each month
  • Participation in at least 4 monthly meetings and 4 service opportunities between September and May.
