Robert’s Story

CT Volunteer - RobertComing to the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut several years ago has been a truly inspiring and great experience. The families who have dwelled in and passed though these walls have shown me that despite any ordeal or no matter the many hardships and sufferings they are given – generosity, kindness and love are always present. The sense of community and support from one another truly shows that the human heart is essentially love. No one here ever tires of serving and helping each other in any day to day event. Whether a family member with a sick child in the hospital, a volunteer, or staff member, we are profoundly connected to one another by that common element which dwells in the heart of every human soul: the gift of love.  Truly this is a House built by love.
