Outstanding Donors July 2015

  • Medtronic/Covidien Volunteers for collecting wish list items, cooking meals for our guests and creating 200 welcome packages for families to receive upon check in.
  • Peoples United Foundation for a $6,500 grant to support families that call RMHCT their “home away from home.”
  • Thank You to Pioneer Valley Reading Council and Mary O. Pottenger School for amazing third party fundraisers! The work you do to support our mission makes our Home Away from Home that much more special.
  • Karen Diaz and the member of the Pioneer Valley Reading Council donated two new Amazon Kindles for our families. Now our families can enjoy books, magazine and articles on ereaders in any of the many languages offered.
  • Kim Jones and the students of the Mary O. Pottenger School hosted another Walk-a-thon for our benefit. An excited group of K-5th graders joined in for a beautiful day of FUNdraising, collecting over $1200 for the families here at the House in Springfield.
  • Hair Dimensions, the Salon recently celebrated their 30th year anniversary at their Salon located at 117 Washington Ave. , North Haven Shopping Center, North Haven, CT by hosting a Cut-A-Thon. All proceeds from their event went to support the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut Capital Campaign to build a new House.   • Chelsea Groton Foundation Trustee, Sue Olszewski and  Chelsea Groton Bank Community Education Officer Pam Days-Luketich present a grant to Stocky Clark and Wendy Kirby for Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut Capital Campaign.
