RMH of Springfield has hosted Loida Rivera and her daughter, Natalia, on and off for the past 9 years. The family is here from Puerto Rico and have been back at RMH for the past 2 months. Natalia was just 2 ½ years old when she first came to the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield to receive care for her leg at Shriners Children Hospital. Loida shared our thoughts on the their stays and said “It is the best, it is like living with family, all of the staff and volunteers treat us like family”. Natalia was excited to share with her everyone a few personal details and told us about her favorite color being pink. , Her favorite show is Dora. She loves to dance ballet and to write but she is happiest when she gets good news from her doctors. She is certainly a very bright and happy child!
